Visit a public library
Make sure you give yourself enough time to get into the feeling of being among all those books, any of which you can pull off the shelf and imbibe for as long as you’d like.
You can take ten books and go through each of them quickly, or sit down with one and start reading from the first page. You can stroll down a dozen aisles and marvel at the wealth of information on a multitude of subjects, or stay in one place and note the wealth of information available on each subject.
Read a magazine. Peruse the videotape library. Ask the librarian to help you find a certain book. Be aware of the infinite variety of passions that have been expressed through the written word, and that you can avail yourself of the breadth and depth of them anytime you want.
